Hello guys, There are three popular operating systems for computers and servers Windows, Mac, and Linux. So today we are going to discuss two operating systems Linux and Windows. Many people compare them with each other but I want to say this is not about a war of Linux vs windows. Because both have some advantages and some disadvantages. So we will discuss some points respectively.

> What is Operating system?
OS is a short form of operating system. the operating system is a computer program that runs other computer programs. The operating system acts as an intermediary between the user and the computer. It explains our instructions to the computer. Other software programs and hardware are operated by the operating system.
> What is Linux?
Linux- First off Linux is an operating system. Linux is an open source software and it is based on UNIX.
Linux does not have any office, no company or person owns it. But programmers around the world make this their contribution. Bigger than in the history of the world, this type of movement never happened.
> What is Windows?
Obviously, you know about windows if you have a PC or Laptop. Even then take a look over windows. So windows is an operating system, with the help of windows you can easily operate your desktop. There have been many windows versions have come in front of us such as Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 etc.
